Marie-Elaina Butler

Marie-Elaina Butler

Marie-Elaina began her legal career as a trainee working in real estate at a City law firm and now has over 10 years’ experience in property law.

Marie-Elaina assists the team with all aspects of the conveyancing process and has experience dealing with freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, lease extensions, first registrations and Right to Buy matters.

With her friendly and calm manner, Marie-Elaina is a reassuring presence to clients, even during stressful situations. She enjoys the challenges and problem-solving nature of conveyancing and takes a meticulous and methodical approach to her work, ensuring all matters are completed to the highest possible standard.

Outside of work, Marie-Elaina can be found spending time with friends and family and enjoying music and theatre, often with her twin daughters in tow.

Sevil Yildirim

Sevil Yildirim

Sevil is a Solicitor in our Private Client team handling Wills, LPAs and estate administration.

Having completed her Bachelor of Laws Degree and her Legal Practice Course, Sevil worked as a trainee solicitor before joining the Palmers team.

Fluent in both English and Turkish, Sevil excels at client contact. She approaches work in a friendly, sympathetic manner and ensures that clients feel respected and cared for when handling their legal concerns.

To further enhance her capabilities, Sevil aims to earn her Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) qualification.

Outside of work, Sevil enjoys travelling and spends her spare time renovating her new home.

Krina Ahmed

Krina is a Paralegal in the Palmers team.

Having secured her Law LLB, Krina aspires to qualify in SQE and progress to the role of trainee solicitor.

She is passionate about her work in conveyancing and finds enjoyment in her work.

Outside of work, Krina likes to spend her time with family and friends.

Asha Garlick

Asha Garlick

Asha is a Finance Manager in the Palmers team.

Having previously worked for an accountancy firm, Asha prepared many statutory financial statements and lead the reviews of legal firms to ensure compliance with the SRA Accounts Rules 2019.

As a manager, Asha monitors and analyses the financial performance of the company and handles any financial queries her colleagues may have.

Alongside this, Asha evaluates the accounts procedures and controls to ensure client money is handled in accordance with the SRA Accounts Rules.

Her ambition is to contribute to the financial success of the business by combining her financial, analytical, and management skills to aid senior management in making the best decisions.

Always striving to learn new skills and knowledge, Asha approaches any task and challenge logically and efficiently and enjoys assisting her colleagues.

Outside of work, Asha relaxes with drawing and painting while continuing her pursuit of knowledge by learning French on Duolingo in preparation for her planned tour of the world.

Jazmyn Smith

Jazmyn Smith

Jazmyn is a trainee solicitor on the commercial litigation team. Her day to day role includes attending client meetings, drafting client documents, and assisting fee earners

Jazmyn is also being introduced to more complex matters in a paralegal capacity, taking on a dual role of providing both administrative and legal support to fee earners.

She has a strong background in Lease Extensions, Collective Enfranchisements, Right to Manage Claims, and Landlord and Tenant Disputes. Her organisational skills and excellent time management are valuable when meeting tight completion deadlines or submitting documents to the Land Registry and HMRC.

Jazmyn has a problem-solving mindset and enjoys researching to help the team overcome challenges. With a genuine passion for learning, she embraces new tasks with an open mind and is eager to continue building her legal knowledge and expertise as part of her goal to become a solicitor.

In the short time she’s been with the team, Jazmyn has already learned a great deal and values the supportive environment and friendly colleagues that have helped her grow. Jazmyn was promoted to a trainee solicitor in July 2025.

Outside of work, Jazmyn is pursuing her interest in computing coding, having already earned her basic award in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. She likes to travel and is currently learning Japanese and German. Jazmyn has also spent the last two years training in pole fitness and enjoys playing video games and reading in her spare time.

Rebecca Johnson

Rebecca Johnson

Rebecca is a Paralegal for the Wills Probate and Trusts team, having previously worked as the department’s Legal Secretary.

She supports fee earners with various matters, including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate, and Trusts, ensuring everything runs smoothly for clients.

Rebecca enjoys the variety in her role, from handling complex documents to communicating with clients.

With a keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills, she takes a methodical approach to her work, always aiming to deliver the best possible support.

Rebecca is always looking to grow and develop her expertise within Wills & Probate, building on her skills and experience.

Outside of work, she’s a competitive swimmer who loves spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys reading.
