A Partner at one of Essex’s leading law firms is in contention for a prestigious legal award, it has been announced.
Carey Jacobs, a Partner at Palmers Solicitors, has been shortlisted for the Client Choice Awards 2018 for the quality of her client service, having been nominated by one of her clients.
The awards are organised by the International Law Office and Lexology, and are “to recognise those law firm partners around the world that stand apart for the excellent client care they provide and the quality of their service.”
Client Choice goes on to say that “the criteria for this recognition focuses on an ability to add real value to clients’ business above and beyond the other players in the market.”
Carey specialises in Commercial Property and heads the Property Department at Palmers, where she deals with matters of particular complexity and urgency, including in the development, education, logistics and industrial sectors.
Carey said: “I am delighted to have received this recognition and very grateful that a client should have taken the time to nominate me for this award. I was taken aback when I received confirmation of the shortlisting, particularly since I had no idea that I was even being nominated. It turns out that all nominations for the awards are treated as having been made anonymously and you never find out about the nomination unless you are shortlisted. Happily, I have managed to find out who nominated me so have been able to say “thank you”.
“Here at Palmers we place a great deal of emphasis on the client service we provide. It is absolutely fundamental to our business, which makes this shortlisting all the more special.”
Palmers has enjoyed further recognition for client service in the last month, having been shortlisted for an Excellent Customer Service award at the Thames Gateway Business Awards and appearing with an impressive twenty-three recommendations in the recently-published Legal 500 2017. The Legal 500 is a leading guide to the legal sector and bases its recommendations on a rigorous programme of research and interviews with a wide range of clients.
