We name local museum as our Rayleigh office Charity for 2018

The team at the newly-opened Rayleigh office of Palmers Solicitors have named Rayleigh Town Museum as the office’s inaugural chosen charity.

The museum, which is free to visit, is home to a wide range of Rayleigh-related items, including postcards, maps and books, all charting the town’s history back to its mention in the Domesday Book.

While the museum celebrates the town’s long history, our office is a more recent addition, having opened close to the museum at 105 High Street in July last year.

Staff at the firm will be taking part in a range of activities over the course of 2018 to raise much-needed funds in support of the museum.

Adam Davis, a Partner and head of the Rayleigh office, said: “Rayleigh Town Museum does a great service for our town with its stewardship of important items of historical interest.

“These items and the history they represent are important aspects of Rayleigh’s distinctive identity and we are delighted to be able to support the museum this year as part of our commitment to our local community.

“We have an exciting programme of activities in the pipeline to support the museum over the course of the coming year.”

Our firm has a strong track-record of supporting good causes in the local area, with the Polly Parrot Appeal for young patients at Basildon and Thurrock Hospitals currently our Basildon office Charity of the Year.
