Litigation Lawyer
Location: Phoenix House, Basildon. Very flexible working arrangements are available.
We are seeking a dedicated Solicitor to join our Litigation department. The successful candidate will undertake litigation work on behalf of clients, providing a broad quality service as part of the practice. You’ll manage client files, develop litigation services, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
We’re looking for a qualified Solicitor with litigation experience, ideally with some experience in property disputes, strong organisational and communication skills, and proficiency in using relevant technological systems.

Private Client Legal Secretary – Basildon Office

You will be responsible for primarily supporting the private client fee earner based at that office as well as assisting other fee earners in the private client team when workloads permit.. The role will include undertaking administrative tasks on behalf of the fee earners as well as transcription work, taking client calls, managing diaries and assisting with file management.
As well as a willingness and aptitude to learn, candidates must possess a can-do approach to their work, excellent and accurate typing skills together with strong organisational abilities. Professional communication skills are also essential.

Family Law Legal Assistant – Chelmsford Office
Full-Time, 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday.

We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time Legal Secretary/Assistant who will undertake a varied mix of both secretarial and legal tasks. This role will primarily support the Family Law department.
Duties will include traditional secretarial responsibilities such as transcription work, taking client calls, managing diaries, and file management, as well as assisting with a range of legal tasks including preparing court bundles, court portal management, billing, and other documents as required. You will be expected to time record. You may also be required to support and undertake reception and general administrative duties for the wider office on occasion.
Candidates must demonstrate a proactive, can-do attitude, excellent and accurate typing skills, and strong organisational abilities and a willingness and desire to be part of a thriving team and to support the fee earner in her role. Professional communication skills are also essential, alongside a willingness to develop their legal knowledge and contribute to the team.

Experienced Residential Property Solicitor
Based at our Basildon office with hybrid working available plus an attractive bonus scheme.
We are seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor who is seeking a new and exciting challenge.
The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of a hard-working Residential Property team, provide guidance to the team, and conduct a busy caseload delivering high quality legal services to our clients throughout the conveyancing process.
An excellent understanding of CQS protocols and compliance requirements is essential and previous experience of managing a small conveyancing team is preferred.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in case management, an ability to handle high levels of work, strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
