Palmers Solicitors recognised across eight practice areas in Legal 500 2027

Palmers Solicitors, providing personal and commercial legal services across Essex and beyond, has once again been ranked in the prestigious Legal 500 guide.

The new 2027 edition, launched on 30 September, recognises the firm across eight practice areas, including a new ranking for its Employment Law expertise.

The new rankings for Palmers Solicitors are an indication of the quality of service and client care, as well as the full-service firm’s breadth of expertise.

  • Commercial Property: Tier 2
  • Construction: Tier 2
  • Tax, Trusts and Probate: Tier 2

The firm has held its position in every one of these practice areas, with four of its teams ranked in Tier 2 for several consecutive guides.

Six of the firm’s lawyers have also been recognised within the guide, including two new rankings for Jonathan Hol and Layna Tompson, as well as improved rankings for Matthew Johnson.

A total of 17 lawyers from across Palmers’ offices in Essex were recommended in the guide, with researchers sharing useful insights on each member of their team and their expertise.

In particular, Lee McClellan was noted for his knowledge of the Inheritance Act, while Erin Duffy was highlighted for her work on allegations of financial abuse.

Similarly, Lisa Judd was recognised for her work on tribunals, while Kristie Willis was recommended for her work on whistleblowing investigations, post-termination restrictions and allegations of harassment.
