Solicitors from a leading Essex-based law firm are limbering up ready for a pancake race in support of a local hospice.
Palmers Solicitors, which has offices in Basildon, Thurrock and South Woodham Ferrers, will be holding the race in support of Farleigh Hospice from 12pm to 2pm on 1 March 2017 at the firm’s South Woodham Ferrers office, Prospect House, 1-3 Brickfield Road, South Woodham Ferrers, Chelmsford, Essex, CM3 5XB.
Palmers is inviting people to join lawyers from the firm for some delicious pancakes, which will be followed by the race, with volunteers to take part being sought on the day. The winners can look forward to a small prize at the end of the race.
The Deputy Town Mayor of South Woodham Ferrers, Councillor Kevin Golding will be amongst those in attendance.
Tim Steele, a Partner at Palmers, said: “Our pancake race is set to be great fun, a good opportunity for our guests to make valuable contacts in the local business community and an excellent way to raise funds for a deserving cause.
“Places are limited, so I would urge anyone who is interested in attending to book their place today.”
