Palmers Solicitors trio raise hundreds for charity at inflatable 5k run

A trio of professionals from Palmers Solicitors have raised hundreds of pounds for charity at an inflatable 5k run.

Associate Solicitor, Nicola Tubbs and Legal Secretaries, Caroline Dovey and Victoria Levitt all took part in the event to raise money for the Polly Parrot Appeal, which supports the work of the children’s wards at Basildon and Thurrock hospitals.

In total, the trio raised £255 plus £33.75 in gift aid from the run, which saw them climb, scramble through and jump from a range of giant inflatable obstacles, measuring up to nine metres high.

Nicola Tubbs said: “This was an enjoyable experience, which was made all the more satisfying by the knowledge that we were able to raise such a good sum for a very deserving cause in the process.

“I would like to congratulate Caroline and Victoria on their efforts on the day in terms of fundraising.”

The Polly Parrot Appeal is the chosen charity of Palmers Solicitors this year and members of the team have taken part in a range of activities to raise funds. Just last month, Associate Helen Jago abseiled 160ft down the Affinity water tower in Harlow, raising more than £400 in the process.
