South Essex-based law firm Palmers Solicitors sponsored the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) Essex Accountancy and Business Awards 2016, which took place on Thursday 19 May 2016.
The firm, which has offices in Basildon, Thurrock and South Woodham Ferrers, also sponsored the Business Person of the Year Award.
BJ Chong, a Partner at Palmers, was a member of the judging panel for the awards, organised by the ICAEW to celebrate the contribution of its members, their firms and clients in Essex.
Commenting on the awards, BJ Chong said: “I was delighted to be able to present the Business Person of the Year award to Aron Priest of Solopress Limited. He is a much deserved winner. There are many excellent businesses in Essex so as judges we had some difficult decisions to make.
“Here at Palmers we work closely with many business people so we’re familiar with the challenges they face on a daily basis. This is a great opportunity to celebrate their contribution.
