Palmers Solicitors’ partner, Carey Jacobs recently judged a category of the Thurrock Education Awards and presented the winner with their prize at the awards ceremony, in front of an audience of around 300 people.
The law firm sponsored the Aspiring Leader category and Carey said: “Having been born, brought up and educated in Thurrock, it was a privilege to be involved in judging awards for education across the borough and present the prize to Ben Holbrook from Palmer’s College.
“The nomination submission for Ben highlighted that he is an inspirational teacher and leader, with incredible enthusiasm for his subject and the drive to improve and inspire students and colleagues. In fact, it has been said that if you could bottle what he has and sell it you’d make a fortune!
