The Palmers Christmas Card Competition has been running for 14 years and this Christmas we have worked with the Treetops School in Grays.
Palmers were delighted with the response and were very impressed with the high standard of drawings entered by the children.
Treetops is a special school for children and young people between the ages of 3 and 19 who experience moderate learning difficulties. The school use a programme called Applied Behaviour Analysis to guide the treatment and change the behaviour of children with autistic spectrum disorders.
We chose drawings from the following children:
Winning Entry:
Charlie Betts- 9 years old
Runners up:
Caleb Misko – 10 years old
Denis Metay – 8 years old
Aimee Louise Read – 10 years old.
Each child was presented with a book token at their school assembly by our Marketing Manager, Emily Smith. A cheque for £200 was also presented to the School for their assistance, which we are sure will be put to very good use!
