Palmers backs Palmers

Palmers Solicitors is proud to announce that it recently sponsored a category at the prize-giving evening of a Grays college.

The Essex-based firm backed the ‘Palmers Solicitors prize for the best achievement at A-level by a student going on to university to study law’ at Palmers College’s prize-giving evening on 14 November. This annual event, which was attended by the Deputy Mayor of Thurrock Councillor Sue Gray, celebrates the hard work and achievements of more than 300 students for a variety of endeavours, including outstanding achievement in their exams, contributing to the cultural and social life of the College, work in the community and 100 per cent attendance.

Partner at the law firm Lee McClellan attended the event at the Civic Hall in Grays and said: ”Whilst the shared name is a coincidence, we do have a number of former students of the college amongst past and present staff members and partners and Palmers Solicitors maintain strong links with the college. This is one of a number of prizes we sponsor at local schools and colleges as we are passionate about engaging with and supporting our local community.”
