Gina Newman

Gina Newman is Chief Operations Officer at Palmers Solicitors, responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operational issues.

Gina sits at board meetings, working closely with the Directors alongside Ricky and oversees a variety of business projects and issues. She leads the operational team, which includes an IT consultant, HR manager, projects and administration manager and compliance officer.

She is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and has enjoyed a successful career within the legal sector, working in a variety of roles including HR and Practice Management. This has given her a detailed insight into the workings of legal businesses from all viewpoints and levels.

Gina enjoys the variety of her role and being able to have a direct input into the management and future development of the company.

She joined Palmers Solicitors in 1989 as a Legal Secretary, becoming Office Manager ten years later, HR Manager in 2002, Practice Manager in 2018 and Chief Operations Officer in 2025. Reflecting her commitment to her role and to the wellbeing of our team, she is also a qualified Mental Health First Aider (MHFA).

Away from the office, Gina still enjoys the odd glass of wine, is active in organising social events and enjoys gardening and spending time with her five cats.
