A bit of Hollywood big-screen glamour is coming to South Woodham Ferrers as a leading South Essex law firm sponsors a monthly film club in the town.
Palmers Solicitors, which has offices in South Woodham Ferrers as well as Basildon and Thurrock, is sponsoring the monthly Champions Film Club, which takes place at the premises of the Town Council on the second Wednesday of each month. Doors open at 12.30pm for tea, coffee and biscuits, with films starting at 1.30pm.
The club, which is organised by South Woodham Ferrers Town Council shows some of the latest Hollywood blockbusters, as well as older films and classics. On 8 March 2017, the club with screen The Martian and on 12 April it will screen 12 Angry Men.
