Dashna came to Palmers in late 2023 to lead our new Banking and Finance practice, employing her diverse experience to establish and grow the team.
Get to know Dashna
Beginning her career as a trainee at a Nottingham firm, Dashna took on a role at global firm Eversheds for 16 years.
Towards the end of her time with the firm, she sought a role with an independent practice which could provide her with more room to grow her client base and career.
After two years with Birketts, she came to Palmers – finding the opportunities and close-knit team that would be the next step in her career.
Beyond the office, Dashna is a fitness fan with a passion for cooking. As a parent to young children, her role with Palmers allows her to work flexibly and part-time to support a work-life balance which works for her family.

Leading our Banking and Finance team, Dashna is using the expertise she has gained from her varied career to establish a reputation for an exciting new practice area.
While every day and week are different, she is driven by client-facing work and dedicates much of her time to meeting with prospective clients and raising awareness of our services.
On the internal side of her role, Dashna is also introducing the Banking and Finance practice to the rest of the team – opening up a new avenue of interdepartmental collaboration.
“Coming to Palmers was absolutely the right move for me,” said Dashna. “It’s got the family feel that I was looking for in a new role, while also giving me the opportunity to take charge of an exciting new practice.
“I’m proud of the work I’m doing at Palmers to establish the name of the practice and share our expertise. There are very few mid-size law firms outside of London which have a banking and finance team, so it’s hugely rewarding to be growing the team and taking on new clients.”
