Growing South Essex Law firm takes on new solicitor as it prepares to open new office

As it opens its fourth office in the region, one of South Essex’s fastest growing law firms has taken on a new Associate Solicitor.

Layna Thompson joins award-winning law firm, Palmers Solicitors, as it opens its new Rayleigh office on Monday 3 July 2017, adding to its existing offices in Basildon, Thurrock and South Woodham Ferrers.

Layna has a wealth of experience in property matters including buying and selling leasehold properties, lease extensions, Right to Buy transactions and transfers of equity. She was named in the ‘Rising Star’ list in the Super Lawyer awards in 2014 and 2015, published in The Telegraph.

Before joining Palmers Solicitors, Layna worked at the London-based law firm where she qualified as a solicitor in March 2011.

Layna said: “I am delighted to be joining Palmers Solicitors as the firm opens its fourth office in Rayleigh. This is an exciting time to move to the firm and I am looking forward to being able to help more clients from across South Essex as we expand into Rayleigh this summer.”

Adam Davis, a Partner at Palmers and head of the Rayleigh office, said: “It is wonderful to be able to welcome Layna to Palmers. She brings with her an impressive track record and I am sure our clients will value her input in their matters.”

Away from the office, Layna loves to participate in sport, teach dance and spend as much time as possible with her twin sons.
