Free webinar to outline simple steps to protect couples who are living together

Many people believe that if they live together they have the same rights as married couples or civil partners.

Sadly this is a myth. The law does not offer the same protection to cohabiting couples. And this means if the relationship breaks down or the worst happens and you or your partner dies, sorting out ownership of your home and finances can be a hugely complicated matter.

During our free webinar, on Tuesday 7 September from 11:30am – 12.15am, our Director Helen Jago who specialises in Wills, and fellow Director Surjit Verdi who is an expert in Family Law including cohabitation matters, will explain how you and your partner can have peace of mind by putting in place the right legal protection.

The webinar will cover:

  • The simple steps you can take to ensure the rights of both you and your partner are protected
  • How to ensure your property is held securely
  • Cohabitation agreement and pre-nups – why both are vitally important
  • How a Declaration of Trust can avoid any financial headaches in the future
  • Why failing to make a Will could mean the people who you least wish to inherit, could have a stake in your assets

We expect our Living Together webinar to be extremely popular so please register now to secure your FREE place.
