Partners and staff at Essex-based law firm Palmers have raised money for charity by coming to work dressed in Christmas jumpers.
Employees at the firm’s three offices – Basildon, Thurrock and South Woodham Ferrers – each made a donation in return for being able to don their festive jumpers in the office, raising £143 for Save the Children.
The effort was part of the charity’s nationwide Christmas Jumper Day, which took place on Friday, 13 December.
Palmers’ involvement was organised by Sharron Keenes, a receptionist and administrator based at the firm’s Basildon office.
She said: “As a firm, we are always looking for opportunities to do our bit for charity, so this seemed an ideal way to engage as many staff as possible to raise money for a good cause.
“I’m absolutely delighted with the response from staff here at Palmers – and the colourful selection of Christmas jumpers they came to work in also helped brighten up our offices.”
